Decarbonisation the theme at Furnace Solutions glassmaking conference

After three years in a virtual World, the Society of Glass Technology (SGT) will host year’s Furnace Solutions Conference, on June 8 and 9 at a new venue The Totally Wicked Stadium, St Helens, UK.

The decarbonisation of the glass industry will be the prime focus of the conference with 14 papers from industry.

These will include from Andrew Keeley of NSG and Lisa Edison of Encirc, who will be reporting their experience of using alternative fuels.

The two-day event will culminate in the presentation of the Michael Garvey award for best paper.
