Dismatec has been presented with the Symbol and Scroll for the ‘Queen’s Awards for Enterprise in International Trade 2014’ by the Lord-Lieutenant for the county of South Yorkshire, Mr. David Moody.
Dismatec was presented with the award following a reception at Buckingham Palace to meet Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II, HRH Prince Philip, Duke of Edinburgh and other Royal guests.
To achieve this recognition the company has demonstrated commercial success over a period of three years, together with providing assurances of responsible conduct in managing the impact on society and the environment, in the selection and control of suppliers, management of each project process, human resources and customer service.
After the first international contract for a project in the Middle East, the company expanded its international trade into other market areas, including; Eastern Europe, Western Europe, United Arab Emirates, USA, Saudi Arabia, and more recently further development in Western Europe.
Dismatec, based in Sheffield, England, is an SME engineering company operating in the worldwide glass manufacturing industry, founded in 2004 by the current Managing Director, Mr. Michael Horsfield, to provide the customer with a direct contact for all their project needs.
