Hot ware handling supplier Dura Temp Corporation has been appointed as the global distributor for Phygen’s FortiPHY coated plates.
FortiPHY coated plates will add transfer deadplates, lehr deadplates and slide plates for inspection machines to the company’s current line of products.
The coated plates are produced with coating process, which results in a hard and smooth surface to enhance glass container transfers from one conveyor to the next.
The coated plates offer a longer service life than standard steel plates and other coatings. According to Dura Temp, they reduce friction and therefore provide excellent glass-on-metal as well as metal-on-metal wear protection.
They also do not require any lubrication, are unaffected by heat and are corrosion resistant.
Dura Temp Corporation has provided the glass industry with hot glass handling materials and quick-change parts and assemblies since 1983.
