Duralex to re-start glass production next week

Duralex will start glass production in early April after it idled its furnaces due to a rise in energy prices.

French glassware and tableware manufacturer Duralex is set to resume production next week.

The in La Chapelle-Saint-Mesmin-based company will begin preparation of its industrial furnace next week with production scheduled 10 days later.

The manufacturing furnace was idled in November due to a colossal rise in energy prices.

The group employs 250 people and anticipates to hire more staff in the coming weeks.
