Düzce Cam has commissioned Horn Glass Industries to supply plant components for the hot end of its 800tpd float glass facility to be established in Bilecik, Türkiye.
The scope of supply includes the glass melting furnace, the tin bath, the annealing lehr, a hot end automation system and the protective gas station.
The Düzce, Türkiye-based float glass manufacturer hosted a ceremonial stone-laying ceremony this week where the first stones of the new furnace were laid.
The commissioning of the new float glass plant is scheduled for April 2027.
