EME Maschinenfabrik, a supplier of batch plants and cullet returns systems for the glass industry, has been awarded a contract in Saudi Arabia.
One of the major Arabian manufacturers for container glass, Zoujaj, has previously contracted EME to supply a control system for their existing batch plant, and now they are returning to them for an upgrade of the batch plant and cullet return system.
Zoujaj is expanding the production capacity in their Riad factory by adding one new melting furnace with several related production lines.
EME will manage the capacity increase of the existing batch plant and supply a complete new cullet return system for the new production lines. Zoujaj’s number one furnace will remain in full operation throughout the process.
