EME has received an order for a new batch plant and cullet return system from Thailand’s Wellgrow Glass Industry.
Wellgrow Glass Industry is an independent glass manufacturer that focuses on producing glass bottles for the cosmetic and pharmaceutical industry.
The company is located in Chacheongsao Province, about 50 km east of Bangkok.
With over 30 years of experience in the container glass market, it can produce glass in green, red, and blue on its nine production lines.
The new batch plant with a total capacity of 260 t/d can supply all three furnaces with batch and cullet, and thus will replace the existing plant.
In the final stage, Furnace 3 will be provided with four production lines.
The Installation begins in autumn 2015, with commissioning scheduled for February 2016.
