EME successfully upgraded the cullet return system at Stoelzle Glass’s production site in Köflach, Austria.
Modifications were made to furnace 02 and executed on a turn-key basis.
EME supplied and installed four gob chutes, two scrapers with 35 tpd and 85 tpd capacity, four vibratory feeders and one belt conveyor.
The modifications were part of a long-term business relationship EME has with the group; the company upgraded Stoelzle Glass’s systems in 2005, 2007, 2017 and 2018.
EME said the latest upgrades would increase plant efficiency and enable the factory to produce high-quality glass containers 24/7, all year round.
