Construction works of the civil infrastructures for the new project GIGAZ in Qatar, are in progress.
The unit, of which Falorni Tech is the EPC contractor, will be the first container glass factory to operate in the Middle East country .
Its team of Project Coordinators travel regularly to Doha to meet customer technicians and sub-contractors to update on the progress of works, which are going ahead in compliance with the schedule, and to plan the future activities.
The first container deliveries with various materials and systems are underway and it will continue until the end of 2022.
Furnace and process line installation works are going to take place in the second half of 2022.
The glass plant will have a total capacity of 220 ton/day of container glass on three production lines.
Moreover, the plant is prepared for the future expansion with a second furnace with relevant lines to double the overall capacity.
