FEVE has confirmed its participation at the forthcoming Glassman Europe conference in Lyon.
The European Container Glass Federation’s (FEVE's), Secretary General, Adeline Farrelly, will provide a presentation. Other speakers who have confirmed their participation so far include independent glass packaging consultant Richard van Breda, who is a former Global Category Director at SabMiller, and Glass Technology Services (GTS), which will discuss the Glass Futures £20 million research centre in the UK.
More speakers for this conference will be announced shortly.
An Industry 4.0 conference will also take place at the Glassman event in Lyon, with Siemens to provide the keynote speech. Other speakers at this conference will be EME, CM.Project.Ing, Schneider Electric, Vertech, Bosch and Heye International.
The Glassman Europe event last took place in Lyon in May 2015 and was attended by French glassmakers O-I France, Stoelze, Saverglass, SGD, Verallia, Arc International and Pochet du Courval as well as customers Bacardi and Danone.
Glassmakers from outside of France who attended were Ardagh, BA Vidro, Bormioli Rocco, Heinz-Glas, Sisecam, Carib Glassworks, Vetropack, Moldova’s Glass Container Company, Russia’s Ekran, Beatson Clark, Verallia Germany, Saudi Arabian Glass Co, Noritazeh Glass and Zignago Vetro.
Leading suppliers who have confirmed their exhibition space for the event so far include FIC UK, Sorg, AGR International, Heye International and Emmeti, among others.
Glassman Europe takes place September 6 and 7 in Lyon, France.
