Fives has joined French association La Glass Vallée.

This membership is part of Fives' strategy with local glassmakers, strengthening its commitment as a provider of solutions for more sustainable glass manufacturing.

Stéphane Franconville, President of La Glass Vallée, said: “The arrival of Fives within La Glass Vallée is a real asset to our ecosystem.

By joining La Glass Vallée, Fives is entering a high-performance ecosystem and engaging in topics closely tied to its core business:

Over the past few years, Fives has collaborated with glassmakers such as Verallia, Pochet, O-I, and Verescence, designing electric and hybrid furnaces that are key to their production processes.

According to its website, La Glass Vallée is a non-profit association (under the French 1901 law) that was founded in 2001.

Today, it has around 50 member companies, with its territory spanning two major regions: Normandy and Hauts-de-France.

It represents approximately 12,000 employees.

The uniqueness of La Glass Vallée lies in bringing together expert companies in every stage of the glass-making process for luxury bottles, jars, carafes, and containers.

Its member companies include model makers, founders, mould makers, glassmakers, sorters, finishers, decorators, master artisans, plastics specialists, accessory manufacturers (caps, pumps, etc.), packagers, logistics providers, and transporters.
