Forglass will supply the batch transport and cullet handling system to Stoelzle Flaconnage’s glass plant in Knottingley, England, UK.
The Stoelzle Glass Group is preparing to restart its Flaconnage plant this December, following a major rebuild after a fire halted production in July.
Forglass is close to completing the delivery of the facility’s cullet handling, batch transport, and the entire batch plant control system.
Piotr Knast, Forglass CEO, said: “This project shows how the right combination of expertise, technology, and organisation allows us to act fast and effectively – even in emergency situations.”
The Forglass team has been engaged in the immediate reconstruction of critical infrastructure.
Thanks to in-house manufacturing, standardised solutions, and an experienced engineering team, Forglass was able to design, manufacture, install, and commission the entire cullet-handling and batch-transport systems within 3 months.
The new systems are engineered for reliability, precision, and high efficiency, ensuring a stable, high-performance restart at the Knottingley facility.
