The 2018 Furnace Solutions Conference and Training Day will take place on Wednesday and Thursday June 7th and 8 at Lucideon, Stoke on Trent, UK.
The event’s organiser, the Society of Glass Technology’s Melting Technical Committee, said the theme for the Training Day 6 is ‘Furnace Operation and Instrumentation’ including all processes – Forehearth distributors and burners.
The theme for the conference is Furnace Optimisation.
Potential trainers and speakers are invited to submit a brief abstract of their proposed paper to Christine Brown, at the SGT, by the end of December. Christine’s email address is christine@sgt.org.
Saint Gobain’s Eggborough, UK plant will host the MTC’s next meeting on Thursday 19th October. Existing members and anyone interested in joining the Society are welcome to attend the meeting.
