Furnotherm completes Baştürk Cam glass project

India's Furnotherm completed the heat up and draining of Baştürk Cam’s 600t/day furnace at its Malatya, Türkiye glass manufacturing facility.

Indian glass furnace constructor Furnotherm has completed the heat up and glass draining operations of Baştürk Cam’s 600t/day furnace at its Malatya, Türkiye facility.

Working alongside Germany’s Horn Glass Industries team, it accomplished the task of a controlled heat-up along with expansion control for the new furnace last month (May 2024).

After the successful heat up, Furnotherm completed the cullet filling and glass was successfully drained ready for production at the greenfield project on June 1, 2024.
