Furnotherm completes Beta Glass furnace rebuild project

Nigeria's Beta Glass contracted Furnotherm for the rebuild of its manufacturing furnace.

Furnotherm has completed a furnace rebuilding project at Beta Glass manufacturing site in Nigeria.

It was a cold repair project of a 60m2 container glass furnace designed by BDF for Frigo Glass (Beta Glass), Nigeria.

The job comprised of: Drilling-draining of furnace, controlled cool down, demolition, construction of refractories, modification & erection of partial steels, heat up-expansion control, cullet filling of the new furnace.

The furnace construction was completed ahead of schedule on June 10, 2024.

The team started the heat up and expansion control of the furnace on June 11, 2024.
