Furnotherm has completed a container glass project for Sevam ahead of schedule.
Sevam is a container and tableware glass manufacturer based in Morocco, North Africa.
The Indian furnace engineering company was tasked with rebuilding Sevam’s 210 tpd container glass furnace in 34 days.
As well as the installation of the complete refractories and partial steels, the job included: stainless steel piping, furnace drilling, glass draining and heat-up, and cullet filling.
Furnotherm completed the furnace construction in 24 days, 10 days ahead of schedule.
Furnotherm said it conveyed its sincere thanks to the Sevam group, BDF and all the stakeholders of the project.
It continued that without their co-operation, the project could not have been completed successfully in such a short span of time.
