A number of leading GIMAV member companies will be exhibiting at this year’s Vitrum event, held on the 6th-9th October at Fiera Milano.

Typically more geared towards the flat glass sector, the participation of GIMAV members will put the spotlight on hollow glass processing at this year’s event.

A number of leading GIMAV member companies will be there with examples of Italian hollow glass processing and production in a dedicated area where tableware, bottles, special glass for pharmaceutical use and containers will be showcased.

The international trade show, which specialises in machinery, equipment and systems for flat and hollow glass processing, highlights the strength and reputation of the Italian glass industry throughout the world.

During 2014, exports to Asia picked up as well (+5.01% in value versus 2013), especially to China and the Middle East, Saudi Arabia and Iran.
