Following on from the success of the first Glass Focus conference in 2012, Glass Focus 2013 will be held on 23rd May 2013 at the Radisson Blu Hotel, Manchester Airport, UK.
Themed "Forward thinking and innovative dimensions for glass and the glass supply chain" the conference will feature Rt. Hon. Michael Fallon MP - Minister of State for Business and Enterprise, James Fothergill – Head of Education and Skills at CBI, and Dave Dalton - Chief Executive Officer of British Glass, as well as expert speakers on key industry topics and issues.
This event will feature a range of breakout sessions focused on topics of relevance to each supply-chain and glass sector. Focused breakout sessions look to encourage discussion on the following themes: glass packaging; glass strength; the future of glass; melting and technology; architecture and building design; the glass academy, education, training and business; and responsible sourcing.
An innovation room will showcase the very latest in glass developments, capabilities and technologies for this fast-moving industry and British Glass are inviting all organisations across the supply-chain to submit proposals to exhibit their latest technology or developments at the event.
An early-bird booking fee of £195 per person applies until 6 January 2013 - including attendance of the conference, black-tie gala-dinner, entertainment and hotel accommodation. Partners can join delegates for the evening dinner, entertainment and accommodation for an additional £55.
