Glass Service seminar on Furnace Design set for June date

The Glass Service seminar on furnace design will take place June 18 and 19 next year.

The 17th International Seminar on Furnace Design – Operation and Process Simulation is scheduled for June 18-19, 2025.

The venue will be the Wellness Hotel Horal mountain resort in Velke Karlovice, Czech Republic.

This biennial event organised by Glass Service brings together more than 150 glass experts from around the world to discuss the use of simulation and control tools, with the goal of optimising the glass melting and forming processes.

The seminar will be open to anyone interested in learning more about the Furnace of the Future, industry 4.0, model-based predictive furnace control, artificial intelligence, all-electric melters, hybrid melters including hydrogen combustion optimised by CFD simulation.

The focus of the 2025 seminar will be on presentations that offer solutions for reducing CO2 emissions by 43% or more by the year 2030, in alignment with the Paris Climate agreement.
