Glaston has closed a €4 million deal with Spain’s Tvitec for heat treatment and pre-processing lines.
The machines are booked in Glaston’s Q2 2015 order book and will be delivered to the customer during the third and fourth quarter of 2015. The order is a follow-up to a deal made in 2013.
Tvitec is located in Cubillos del Sil, León, in northwest Spain and was founded in 2007. The company is a facade glass supplier in Spain and has one of the largest glass processing facilities in Europe. More than 70% of Tvitec’s products are exported.
The Glaston-Tvitec customer relationship goes back to year 2008 when Tvitec acquired its first Glaston furnace.
The lines are also equipped with the GlastonInsight production optimisation system and the deal also includes a pre-processing line for double-edging.
One of the heat treatment lines and the pre-processing line will be installed at the company’s new factory close to Oporto, Portugal.
