Global hollow glass event set to open its doors

The Glassman hollow glass exhibition and conference is about to open in Mexico. The event has nearly 90 companies from all around the globe exhibiting the latest technology and equipment for the hollow glassmaking industry.

The show at Guadalajara Expo centre in Guadalajara, Mexico also includes a free to attend conference. The 12 speakers include experts from companies including Gerresheimer, BDF, HWI, Pneumofore and AGR.

Exhibitors said they were looking forward to the show and said Mexico had become a glassmaking centre in recent years. The rise of Mexico's hollow glassmaking industry coincided with an increase in popularity of Mexican beers around the world.
