Glass Technology Services (GTS) will host a series of online training sessions on how to make glass packaging more sustainable.
The three sessions will take place each Tuesday from June 24th to July 8th at 1-2pm (BST).
The series will allow participants to discover emerging trends, navigate key regulatory pressures, and learn from glass sustainability experts.
They will learn how to avoid greenwashing through credible, data-driven claims, and explore practical strategies like right weighting and shape optimisation.
Additionally, the series will highlight the long-term sustainability advantages of glass over plastic, while helping participants master tools like Life Cycle Assessments (LCAs).
The agenda is as follows:
- Session One - Navigating the current landscape and future opportunities.
- Session Two – Practical strategies for sustainable glass design.
- Session Three - Measuring the impact of sustainable improvements.
GTS speakers include Martyn Marshall, Melting and R&D Lead, Daniel Capon, Technical Services Manager, and Chris Holcroft, Energy & Environment Lead.
