Guardian Clarity is a magnetron sputtered, anti-reflective glass which helps to remove reflective distractions, producing a barrier which is clearer than glass.

The float glass process produces a pristine finish which can be slightly reflective in appearance.

This can be distracting when the aim of the glass is to safely present the area behind, such as in shop windows or areas which desire unobstructed views at night.

Using magnetron sputter coating technology, Guardian Clarity enables a light transmission of 97% and a reflection of less than 1%, compared to architectural float glass which offers a light transmission of 90% and a reflection of 8%.

The anti-reflective coating has been designed so that any reflection caught in that 1% factor appears in a dark blue rather than the pink area of the spectrum, commonly found with other anti-reflective glass.

Being a magnetron sputter coated glass also means that Guardian Clarity is available in the optimum range of sizes, all the way up to Jumbo (3210x6000mm).

Guardian Clarity can be supplied double or single sided, in both annealed and laminated forms, produced on Guardian UltraClear - low iron float glass.
