The Gulf Glass show in Dubai has come to a finish, following a successful three day event.
The show, which focuses on the flat glass industry and runs alongside the solar Gulf Sol event, was well attended by visitors primarily from the MENA region.
More than 150 exhibitors came from Europe, the USA, Asia and the Middle East itself to do business in the region.
Glass International was among the visitors and reported successful meetings with a number of exhibitors.
Exhibitors reported a positive show, with many noting how well placed the Middle East region is for reaching customers from both India and Africa as well as the growing Middle East market.
Francesco Cavaioni of BDF said: "The show went well. We are well placed for business in Africa and India, so we had to be here."
Exhibitors such as Ramsey Products, Zippe, F.I.C UK, Sorg, Bucher Emhart Glass and Bottero were kept busy meeting existing customers and new contacts, with many noting the quality of the visitors.
A conference ran alolngside the show as well as a Global Leaders summit which discussed the future of solar glass.
