A Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) has been signed between Azerbaijan Investment Company and Türkiye's company Gürok Group to study the possibilities to construct a glass facility in Azerbaijan.
Azerbaijani Economy Minister Mikail Jabbarov wrote on X that the plant is intended to meet the glass needs of domestic and international food and beverage makers.
Gürok Group engages in a variety of areas, including glassware, tiles, industrial equipment, construction, and tourism, the publication reads. Its glass divisions are the GCA container glass group as well as the LAV tableware organisation.
