Horn reconstructs furnace for Indian glassmaker

The furnace repaired by Horn at PGP Glass' Kosamba factory in Fort Mumbai, India.

Horn has reconstructed a furnace for PGP Glass at its Kosamba factory in Fort Mumbai, India.

The 60 tpd furnace, with four production lines, is designed for the production of flint cosmetics and perfumery bottles.

Horn repaired the regenerative end fired furnace at site within the specified time frame.

The furnace produced its first glass on July 16^th, 2025, and is now fully operational.

Supervision of the installation, heat-up, and commissioning was managed by Horn experts and its subsidiary Horn India.

Horn said it was proud to have once again collaborated with PGP and wished the Indian premium supplier a long and successful furnace campaign.
