Harbison Walker International (HWI)’s Bryn Snow was the recipient of this year’s Hotbels BTU award.
The award recognises individuals who have contributed significantly to Hotbels Seminars and to the education of the glass industry.
Mrs Snow is currently Applications Director for Industrial Metals and Glass Industries at HWI.
She was unable to attend this year’s Hotbels event, and was later presented the award with her HWI colleagues and family present.

On receiving her the award, Mrs Snow said: “I am truly honoured to follow in the footsteps of those who have received this award before me, individuals I deeply admire for their remarkable contributions to our industry.
“Hotbels is one of my favourite events of the year. The presentations and the subsequent dialogue that is important and relevant to the challenges we all face in our industry.
“This open dialogue is critical, as progress does not happen in isolation.”
