Şişecam Group has won an award for its glass recycling efforts.
It was awarded Silver Prize from 55 projects in the Environmental and Social Innovation category of the Sustainability Awards organized by the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD).
Şişecam won for its contributions in matters such as resource efficiency, glass recycling and energy efficiency as well as glass recycling capital.
The winners of the 2018 awards were determined after evaluation by four independent jury members and were assessed by on four criteria: standards and best practices, innovation, visible impact and capacity building. The awards ceremony was held in Jordan.
