Industry professionals attended Glassman Asia, Jakarta, Indonesia on 30-31 January this year.
The event was focused on improving efficiencies in glassmaking.
Some of the world’s leading technology and equipment suppliers exhibited at the trade show, displaying technology for the hot and cold ends of glass plants.
Among the companies which exhibited were Zippe, Sorg, Peninne Industrial, FIC UK, Parkinson-Spencer Refractories and AGC Ceramics.
A number of the region’s glassmakers and customers attended.
These included O-I, Mulia Glass’s container and float divisions, Pilkington, Cullet Prima Setia as well as Kauri Australia winemaker.
An accompanying conference featured presentations about the glassmaking process.
These were given by Fives Stein, Eurotherm by Schneider Electric, Pneumofore, Durr Systems, AGC Ceramics, Pyrotek and Paneratech.
