Indian glass ampoule and tubular glass vials manufacturer, Klasspack, is to increase production at its two Nashik district plants by 2017.
The plants will have an installed production capacity of 50 million glass ampoules and 30 million tubular glass vials per month when its expansion plan is completed.
The expansion will more than double its production capacity, which is currently 35 million glass ampoules and 13 million tubular glass vials per month.
Klasspack has the capability to produce between 1ml - 50 ml ampoules and 1 ml - 60 ml tubular glass vials. It said that with the expanded capacities, it is looking forward to serve world's market of USP Type I, glass ampoules and tubular glass vials.
Its products are widely used by pharmaceutical companies as primary packaging materials for their life saving drugs.
The company currently partners with Schott Glass for its tubing requirements, thereby ensuring quality products to its customers.
