Lanxess, one of the leaders in specialty chemicals, is investing €15 million in its glass fibre plant in Antwerp, Beligum.
For the specialty chemicals company, glass fibres are a key intermediate for the production of high-tech plastics. With the expansion, the actual annual capacity of 60,000 metric tons is expected to increase by 10%.
