UK glass engineering group Lattimer has acquired Hartmann and Bender, a German manufacturer of IS variable equipment.

Hartmann and Bender was founded in 1897 and has been manufacturing equipment for the glass container industry for more than 40 years.

Its decades of experience and the resulting expertise make H&B a specialist in the industry.

Over the next few weeks H&B will be contacting its customers with the news and confirming that it is business as usual.

“Together, with Hartmann & Bender, we can offer a wider product range, significantly increased machining capacity and technical knowhow to deliver more solutions to our valued customers.

“In the long term we aim to streamline production of both companies and standardise on our strongest products to continue delivering quality parts of which we have built our reputation.”
