Magma Ceramics & Catalysts achieves health and safety accreditation

Magma Ceramics & Catalysts has added OHSAS 18001:2007 to its ISO 9001 and 14001 certifications.

OHSAS 18001, the internationally recognised accreditation for occupational health and safety management systems, assesses occupational health and safety management, emergency preparedness and response, awareness, competence and on-going training and improvement.

Magma was assessed over a period of 12 months and accreditation was gained following several audits by BSI, which assessed the company's health and safety procedures.
