The first speakers have been confirmed for a forthcoming Mexican glass manufacturing conference.
The Glassman Latin America trade show takes place in Mexico City on May 15 and 16.
The accompanying conference will focus on two themes: decarbonisation in glass production, and digital glassmaking, as well as a keynote session on the opening morning featuring Mexican speakers.
It is anticipated that the conference will take place over two days and include approximately 16-18 speakers.
Electroglass’ Grahame Stuart and Zippe’s Markus Werner are both confirmed to speak in the decarbonisation session.
Mr Stuart (pictured above) will discuss 'Renewable energy is only a small piece of the puzzle when designing all-electric forehearths for a carbon neutral future'.
Mr Werner will talk about the 'Importance of post-consumer glass recycling'.
