Mexican glass manufacturers such as O-I, Glass&Glass and Crisa Libbey are among those to have registered to attend a trade show next week.
The Glassman Latin America trade show opens its doors on May 11 and 12 and will focus on the glass manufacturing process, from the hot end to the cold end.
More than 80 technology suppliers and manufacturers of equipment will showcase their latest innovations at the trade show in Monterrey, Mexico.
Among the visitors to have pre-registered to attend are container glass manufacturers Vidrio Formas, Fevisa, Pavisa, Sevisa, IVC, Crown Mexico and Grupo Modelo as well as speciality glass producers such as Corning and Fusion Y Formas.
Exhibitors will focus on the entire glass manufacturing process, from the hot end to the cold end.
Suppliers include companies focused on the batch plant, furnaces, forming, annealing, inspection, and palletising and packaging.
An accompanying free to attend conference will include nine presentations focused on the theme Glassmaking in the 21st Century.
Glassman Latin America takes place in the Cintermex exhibition centre, Monterrey, Mexico on May 11 and 12.
