The 16th Mir Stekla (World of Glass) exhibition will be held at the Expocentre in Moscow, from 4 to 6 June 2014.

Mir Stekla shows stable growth in terms of both the exhibition space and the number of exhibitors, with over 6000 sq.m. of space sold to almost 300 companies, making the exhibition the largest glass event in Russia and the CIS countries.

The event is also expecting more visitors than last year, which in 2013 totalled more than 9,000, 94% of which were industry specialists.

Mir Stekla can be used as a springboard for international companies which want to expand into the Russian market, and is recognised as a meeting place for the ‘veterans’ of the Russian market.

According to a 2013 event assessment, more than 70% of exhibitors stated that they had successfully achieved the targets set during the exhibition.

To keep the exhibition relevant, Mir Stekla always keeps up to date with actual business trends, and therefore in 2014 the following sections have been added to the exhibition:

  • ‘Window. Doors. Facades - the actual concept of Active and Passive houses’;
  • ‘Special application of glass, optics, laboratory, quartz etc’;
  • ‘Transportation & storage of glass’.
