The July/August and September 2011 issues of Glass International feature details of the forthcoming Conference on Glass Problems (GPC). In both issues, reference is made to the conference moving to Alfred University in New York, USA from 2012. This information was published as a result of a misinterpretation on Glass International’s part.

The Inamori School of Engineering at Alfred University is to support the GPC alongside the Glass Manufacturing Industry Council (GMIC) from 2012 but a new location for the conference is yet to be confirmed.

As the official publication of the GMIC, Glass International apologises for the publication of this misinformation. When a new location for the GPC is confirmed, an official announcement will appear in the magazine and on the website.
