NSG expansion project in Vietnam

The NSG Group will start its ultra-thin glass float line in Vietnam from June 2014.

Production will commence from the second half of this fiscal year.

The new line is situated within the site of NSG’s wholly-owned subsidiary, NSG Vietnam Special Glass.

The project will be NSG’s second ultra-thin float line, with the other line dedicated to Ultra Fine Flat glass (UFF) situated in Japan.

The NSG Group is a world-leading supplier of ultra-thin glass for small LCD applications.

NSG UFF products are increasingly being used in the growing touch panel market and cover glass (soda lime composition) in computers and mobile devices.
