Owens-Illinois (O-I) has named John Haudrich as Senior Vice President and Chief Strategy and Integration Officer, effective immediately.

Haudrich will continue in the role of Acting CFO until a new Chief Financial Officer is announced. Haudrich is a member of O-I's Global Leadership Team and will report to CEO-elect Andres Lopez.

The new role of Chief Strategy and Integration Officer will be responsible for developing O-I's strategy, executing key company-wide activities and leading the global supply chain organisation.

Areas of focus include increasing value through greater operational stability, driving sustainable performance improvements, and enabling longer-term breakthroughs to advance the company's position in the marketplace.

“The integrated business approach we are developing is at the heart of creating a performance-improvement culture that will deliver increased efficiency, enhanced flexibility and improved execution," said Lopez.

“John has done an excellent job as Acting CFO and is uniquely skilled to lead this strategy and integration work. I am confident he will continue to deliver incredible value to our company."

Haudrich has held the role of Vice President and Acting CFO since April 2015. Prior to that, he led the Global Finance operations for O-I's four business segments and the Corporate Finance team.

He joined O-I in March 2009 as Vice President of Investor Relations, was named Vice President of Finance in 2010, and Vice President of Finance and Corporate Controller in 2011.
