Reorganisation at Durobor
The President of the Trade Court of Mons has officially granted glass tableware producer Durobor the benefit of a “procedure of judicial reorganisation” for a period of six months, renewable if needed for a maximum of six months.

Solvay and Tianjin set up joint soda ash plant
Solvay has announced that it has concluded an agreement with Chinese soda ash producer Tianjin Soda Ash Plant under which Solvay will invest €16 million in two steps to acquire a 30% participation in the soda ash plant built in Bin Hai near the city of Tianjin, China.

Saint-Gobain postpones Verallia IPO amid ‘adverse conditions’
Saint-Gobain has dropped the planned initial public offering (IPO) of the world’s second biggest glass manufacturer, Verallia. The French giant said that it had postponed the flotation of much of the business due to “very adverse” market conditions.
