PaneraTech has appointed Frederic Rougevin-Baville to lead the technical management of its Digital Furnace Management (DFM) programme.

As DFM Technical Manager, Mr Rougevin-Baville, a 14-year veteran of the glass industry, will lead PaneraTech’s Asset Management Team.

The internal team is made up of furnace experts who help customers optimise furnace assets.

Mr Rougevin-Baville will provide technical leadership as PaneraTech guides customer teams to make data-driven decisions about furnace operations and maintenance.

PaneraTech said his expertise will be instrumental to the standards, policies, and procedures of the programme.

Mr Rougevin-Baville said: “After years of enriching experiences in the glass industry, I am excited to dedicate my knowledge to innovative projects with PaneraTech, including Digital Furnace Management.”

Mr Rougevin-Baville was previously Furnace & Glass Melting Group Manager at Verescence.

He has also worked for glass manufacturers such as Saint Gobain, Guardian, SGD, and Verallia.
