The owner of the Pattesons Glass group has changed.
Pattesons Glass is located in Grimsby, UK, and is a global distributor of glass packaging, providing solutions for the food, drink and cosmetics industries.
Its owner, Industrial Packaging Group, has agreed to form a new holding with shareholders of Treffpack Beteiligungsgesellschaft.
The new holding will be called the Packaging Alliance Europe.
All companies within the Industrial Packaging Group, which includes Pattesons Glass, Premium Glass and Gaasch Packaging, are included within the transaction.
The new Packaging Alliance Europe will include companies which operate from offices in Germany, Belgium, Luxembourg, UK, Denmark, Sweden, the Netherlands and France.
The companies provide a one-stop-shop experience with primary packaging products and services.
The product range covers containers, closures and accessories for food & beverage, cosmetics & personal care, cleaning and caring and pharma & OTC products. Altogether, the companies generated a traded turnover of more than €200 million in 2021.
The deal is expected to be closed before the end of the year.
