UK glass conveyor and silent chain provider Pennine Industrial has moved into new premises.

The larger site means the company has expanded its production and office space by 50%.

In additions to the larger space the building has been fully customised to allow for a vastly improved operational flow and increased production output.

The new premises were selected as they are less than 3km from the previous site in Skelmanthorpe allowing maximum retention of experienced production and sales staff and continuing to provide jobs in the local community.

Pennine’s Sales Director Graham Womersley said, “This is a milestone in the history of Pennine, and the 3rd time in our 55 year history that we have upgraded our premises.

“Having a new purpose-built facility will allow us to improve production processes and provide shorter lead times for our customers. We are all very grateful to West Yorkshire Combined Authority’s Business Growth Programme who supported the move”.

Pennine Industrial is a specialist in glass conveyor chains, sprockets, shear blades and power transmission chains for the international glass manufacturing industry.

The address of its new premises is Pennine Industrial Equipment,
Unit A1, Park Mill Way, Clayton West, Huddersfield, HD8 9XJ.
