Indian glass manufacturer PGP Glass has installed a furnace at its plant in Kosamba, India.
The facility produces glass packaging for industries including pharmaceutical, cosmetics and perfumery.
The 120 tpd furnace was designed by Horn Glass Industries and installed by India's Super Furnace Works.
The scope of work included: refractory installations; structural steel fabrication and assembly; combustion systems; air cooling ducting work; equipment installations; as well as the construction of platforms around the furnace, forehearth (f/h), and batch charger area.
