French container glass manufacturer Pochet du Courval has received a total of €1.5 million in aid from both local and national governments to help with the digitalisation of the company.

In September, Pochet du Courval received aid of €697,000 to support the Industry 4.0 transformation of its site from the Normandy region, where the company is based.

A further €800,000 was paid to the company as part of the national Plan France relaunch support scheme following the Covid-19 pandemic.

These funds will finance the company’s digitisation project by 10% until 2023.

The President of the Normandy Region, Herve Morin recently met with Pochet du Courval employees and managers and engaged in a brief discussion about the training available and the promotion of Made in France, a campaign initiated by the French government.
