Spaces are filling up fast for the 16th Furnace Solutions event next week in St. Helens, Merseyside, UK.

The programme will take place on 8-9 June 2022 at the St Helens Rugby Club’s Totally Wicked Stadium.

After the difficulties of Covid, the Society of Glass Technology (SGT) reports that its friends and colleagues are keen to meet again, to exchange ideas and experiences.

The decarbonisation of the glass industry will be the prime focus of the conference with 14 papers from industry.

The strength of this year’s conference has already attracted first time attendees from Heraeus Conamic and first-time speakers Emisshield, from the USA.

Furnace Solutions has always attracted overseas delegates and this year is no exception. Guardian Glass will be represented by delegates from the USA, Poland and the UK. Other delegates from the UK and Europe will represent the float, container and fibre sectors.

The Geoff Evans Dinner will also be held at the same venue on the evening of the 8th of June.
