This year, Glassman returns to Brazil with Glassman South America on the 12th and 13th March, at the Fecomercio in Sao Paulo.

The leading trade event for the container and hollow glass industry, the exhibition will welcome more than 70 prestigious companies who will be exhibiting the latest innovations and developments from the world of glass.

Companies exhibiting include Bucher Emhart Glass, EME, Nikolaus Sorg, Heye International and Horn.

The free-to-attend exhibition will be visited by senior decision makers from every aspect of the glass making process, and registration for those interested in attending is now open here:

A full two day conference will run alongside the two day exhibition, and is due to feature presentations, case studies, and analyses from the likes of Bucher Emhart Glass, Verallia Germany, and Heye.

This year the conference is organised in association with ABIVIDRO, the leading Brazilian Glass Association, which will ensure an excellent range of domestic and international speakers.

As always, the conference is free-to-attend, and will perfectly compliment the technology available to see at the exhibition.

Brazil’s container and hollow glass industry is bigger than ever, and set to rapidly expand as this BRIC nation hosts the World Cup and the Olympics, making Sao Paulo an obvious choice to host the show.

The economic centre of South America’s largest economy, many large international businesses already have a strong foothold in the country’s industry. Glassman South America offers small to mid-size companies the perfect opportunity to meet with these companies and with each other, to ensure they have a presence in this increasingly important market.

Glassman South America is organised by Quartz Business Media, publishers of Glass International.
