Robur becomes part of Spie

Robur is the owner of glass industry suppliers including Excelsius, Hotwork USA and Franke Industrieofen Service.

Glass industry services specialist Robur has been acquired by Spie.

Robur is the owner of several glass suppliers including Excelsius, Hotwork USA and Franke Industrieofen Service.

Following completion of the transaction, Robur will be established as a separate division of Spie Deutschland & Zentraleuropa, and will continue to be led by Jan-Jörg Müller-Seiler and his management team.

“Since 2015, there have been regular reports of companies becoming part of Robur. Now we are pleased to announce the signing with Spie. This means that Robur will become part of Spie," said Mr Müller-Seiler, Managing Director/CEO and Managing Partner of Robur.

Robur will become part of Spie Deutschland & Zentraleuropa, making it the third platform acquisition of Spie Group in Germany and Central Europe. Like Robur it has pursued a strong growth course recently.

The final closing of the transaction is expected to take place in February 2024.
