Safety in Glass Production – Presentation by Murat Yolaçan at Glassman Asia 2025
Murat Yolaçan, Sales Manager at Bucher Automation Tettnang, Germany will present a Fire Detection System (FDS) at Glassman Asia 2025.
The FDS uses infrared cameras to continuously monitor heat development at the hot end, detecting potential fire hazards at an early stage.
In the event of a deviation from typical thermal signatures, the system automatically initiates measures to safely shut down the machine and prevent fires.
Bucher Automation Tettnang is a provider of automation solutions for machinery and equipment manufacturers in the glass producing industry, as well as in the fields of recycling and special-purpose machinery.
The Glassman Asia event is a trade show and conference focused on glass manufacturing processes. It takes place in Bangkok, Thailand on February 12 and 13 and is free to attend.
So far 63 technology suppliers to the glass industry will exhibit at the trade show, while 10 companies will speak at the conference.
