Pharmaceutical glass manufacturer SGD Pharma has released its 2025 Sustainability Report.

The company has made advancements in its Carbon Disclosure Project (CDP) score, achieving a CDP climate score of A, CDP water score of B, and CDP supplier engagement score of A.

SGD Pharma also received an EcoVadis score of 90/100.

This score earned the company a platinum medal for the second consecutive year, placing it in the top 1% of companies assessed globally.

All manufacturing sites have also been certified to ISO 45001, ISO 50001, and ISO 14001.

Furthermore, SGD Pharma is the first glass manufacturer in China to achieve ISO 14021 for post-consumer recycled content at its Zhanjiang plant.

Olivier Rousseau, CEO of SGD Pharma, said: “This report reflects our significant strides across the environmental, social, and ethical dimensions, further strengthening our leadership position in the pharmaceutical glass industry.”

Alongside environmental measures, the company also reported that onboarding critical suppliers with 100% signed its supplier code of conduct.

SGD Pharma also revised its HR policy to formalise its approach to developing a safe, fair, and inclusive workplace.

This included committing to ensuring a living wage for all permanent employees by 2028, deploying the French Gender Equality Index methodology across all locations, and strengthening its labour relations framework.
